About the Author: Kyle Michel Sullivan

Kyle Michel Sullivan is a writer and self-involved artist out to change the world until it changes has already happened in far too many ways. He has lived in London, Los Angeles, San Antonio, El Paso, Kansas City, Honolulu, Austin, Houston, Grand Forks, North Dakota, and now resides in Buffalo, NY.

He has won multiple awards for his screenplays and has all manner of books available -- from sunshine and light ("David Martin") to cold and dark ("How To Rape A Straight Guy", which has been banned a couple of times) to flat out crazy ("The Lyons' Den).

He uses Tolstoy as his guide, and tries to build characters as vivid and real as possible. He has a lot of fun doing it mixed with angst, anger, and amazement ... but that's the joy of a writer.

His newest book, "The Vanishing of Owen Taylor," a murder mystery, continues with Jake and Tone from "Rape In Holding Cell 6" but in a different direction -- this time the story is Jake's and his internal journey as he tries to find out why his uncle disappeared...and why his mate, Tone, is trying to push him away.

All of his books in print were published beginning in 2013; anything earlier than that is out of print, except for "The Lyon's Den" and "Boys Will Be Boys" (which contains a novella he wrote); they were published through STARbooks Press and continue to sell on Amazon.

If you want to keep up with him, here's how --

The journey continues down a path of twists and turns and ever lurking shadows and rays of light...with the occasional moonbeam of happiness.

Daniel wanted to get back together with Tad, so he agreed to rewrite eight horrible scripts in time for them to be pitched as a new series for cable. If the network went for it, he'd get a week in Bermuda to rebuild their love. If they didn't, he'd lose the guy forever.

Only thing was, Tad wanted to keep the rewrite super-hush-hush, so he insisted Daniel use his family's empty, isolated cabin in upstate New York to work. Reluctantly, Daniel agreed, but as he was being driven to it, a massive snowstorm blew in ... and that "isolated cabin" wound up the center of mystery, suspense, sex, betrayal, revenge, murder, fist-fights, shredded clothes, frostbite, gunfire, predatory females, an obnoxious caretaker, a hermit who hates everything, an epic snowstorm, a hot shower with people who don't exist, a blazing fireplace, a bizarre shower curtain, off-key TV music, secrets heard in shadows, crooked politicians, romance with the proper stranger, and enough paranoid-schizophrenia to fill a mental institution.

All in the space of two hours on a Friday night.
