Lucid is a gunman trying to bury the ghosts of his past and thus far heas been quite successful. That is, until he meets a young boy who has no idea of the world he is in nor how important he could become. Lucid tries to help the child transition into this new world, a place with feelings and emotions that the boy had never felt before. They travel together, facing the past of the gunman and the potential futures of the boy on their journey. The boy soon learns, however, that this world is far different from the one he vaguely recalls. The truth of the world he now lives in and all its inhabitants is that they all share a common trait. They have all become outgrown.
