Have you ever watched a ship get out so far that all of a sudden it looks like it's fallen off the edge way out there?' 'Well, yes, I guess it does look like that. Just swallowed up.' 'Well, we both know it wasn't swallowed up. The earth is curved, you know, and it's that curvature which plays tricks with your eyes and makes you think that the ship literally sank to the bottom of the sea. But nothing like that happened; it's still there, going on just out of our reach. It didn't just disappear nor fall off the edge! Your sister is still there. She still goes on, just on another more beautiful plane.' Author Betty McCoy has been writing stories for many years, and for a time, she was a member of a local writer's club. While there, she entered many of her stories in the annual contest, winning seven years in a row the sought-after first place. She also became a weekly contributor to several newspapers. Always, during this time, she never lost sight of the desire to write a novel, and she has done this with the advent of Tuesday After Two, Books One and Two. She enjoys singing tenor in a trio with her two daughters. Gospel music has always been one of her passions. Cooking for family and guests is another. Her pork chop casserole is a favorite for miles around the community in which she and her husband Lee reside. Betty continues to write and hopes that all who might read Tuesday After Two will enjoy it.
