About the Author: Lesli Richardson

Tymber Dalton is the better-known wild-child alter-ego pen name for writer Lesli Richardson. She lives in southwest Florida with her author husband Jon Dalton (aka “The World’s Best Husband™”) and too many animals. The two-time EPIC award winner is the author of over 100 books in a variety of genres and heat levels, from mainstream mystery and sci-fi all the way up to scorching menage and BDSM.

When she’s not writing or out shooting skeet or playing DnD with friends, she can be found doing line edits or reading or thinking up something else to write. You can drop her a line through her website/blog and keep abreast of the latest news, views, snarkage, and general ramblings she feels like posting when the mood strikes her.

(Also published writing as Macy Largo, and Tessa Monroe.)

I like to write my stories around the characters. I don't "plot" my stories, I "pants" them. My characters are rarely perfect (and the perfect ones are usually first fodder for the bad nasties anyway). I like real characters, no matter how "fantastic" the story, that you can relate to and yet still escape with for a while. This means they'll have warts and all.

Divorced mom Kelly Alexander wants younger son, Denny, in a wheelchair due to spina bifidaï--to participate in sports. Kelly finds out about the Junior National Disability Games, but they're in Spokane, Washington, a continent away from her Florida home. She's clueless about what to do next. Mart Rawlings is a single, handsome wheelchair athlete who volunteers to coach Denny and helps him qualify--and falls hard for Kelly. But past heartache over her cheating ex fuels Kelly's reluctance to get personally involved with him. Kelly must survive a grueling cross country drive to Nationals with her sons and mother, but more importantly, can she make herself take a chance on love? Cross Country Chaos is a funny, passionate, and at times cringingly honest story of healing broken hearts, rebuilding trust, finding love in unexpected places, and realizing sometimes the greatest disability is between a person's ears, not their body.
