I am a mother. Epic fantasy Author and lifetime fantasy/fiction fan. "The Legend of Heartstone" began as an exercise in imagination, and after the encouragement of family and friends, is now a published work. December of this past year the first volume, "Sisterhood of Steel" became available on Kindle and Amazon. This is an introduction to the Heartstone clan and their beloved island of New Eden, but more significantly, the reader will meet Grand Matriarch Ana'Lira Heartstone and her granddaughter, Rain. Their simple lives are getting ready to become very complicated, having come from a quiet, secluded existence to the brewing turmoil of an unending, ancient war. The reader will be introduced to prophecy and the gnarled prophet that delivers the bane of Ana'Lira's seclusion. There is history, long since forgotten that is rediscovered and lamented along the way. The brood of Heartstones fight to get their mother and Queen home, only to find the kingdom in turmoil. And all the while, the girl, Rain begins to show signs of abilities that have not been seen in the lines of men, since Angels walked among us.

Come 2012, we will continue the journey with the second in the series "Daughter of War", which is well under way. But for today, in this hour I proudly introduce you to the Heartstones. Angels. Demons. Prophecy. Magic and the most lethal clan of women in literature.
