Ex-lovers are never the best of friends, but when one proceeds to kill the other repeatedly for fun, there’s obviously something wrong with the relationship. Besides being a pain in her behind, Della Morgan’s ex-betrothed, Ryden, just happens to be her father’s Sorcerer-in-training and an immortal Manticore to boot. After being ordered by her father to babysit him, Della—a sexy, soul-sucking Siren in her own right—discovers that there’s much more to Ryden’s magical heritage than she’d ever imagined. Then when charming, bounty hunter, Owen shows up on the scene looking for answers, Della must set about putting the pieces of the puzzle together.
Just what exactly isn’t her father telling her and why does Owen—a mortal—suddenly make her want to believe in love? If Della's not careful her sweet Siren’s call may cause her to lose more than just her heart.
