For many years, just the thought of them, the chopping sound of a helicopter's blades, 60's music or the sight of a piano had been killing me. Even more so, the melodic sounds unleashed when someone who had mastered some of the reasons behind the instrument's many keys, sat and willed it. Even today, there remain a few songs requiring certain white and black piano keys to turn tumblers and unveil the magic that take my breath away... His memory is summoned when I hear an unbalanced ceiling fan, a muffler backfire outside my window... As for how she comes racing back to me from past to present...it is and always will be that piano... He was a haunted old man hoping to leave something of value to a special young girl who had nothing. I guess their brief and meaningless time together is mostly a strange love story.
