A dire wolf has invaded a warren that sets in the midst of the southern mountains-an outpost in which resides a coterie of six primordial rabbits known as lagomorphs. The previous night, a sign appeared in the dark heavens revealing the advent of a long forgotten prophecy. With the revelation of the sign and the wolf's invasion, the six lagomorphs with their own unique skills, must now journey into a dark and treacherous forest filled with evils and bewitchments. They must search for allies and ind the location of the Warren of Warriors; feral rabbits trained to fight to preserve the freedom of their species until the arrival of the Chrysalis, an event bringing with it chaos and forever change their world, as they know it. The wolves deny its coming but the lagomorphs embrace it. This is their story as told throughout the ages. A longtime fantasy enthusiast, Bruce has spent four years developing and writing The Chrysalis: Creatures of the Highlands. Traveling the terrains of southern California to Oregon has helped form the landscapes of The Chrysalis. With his affinity for wildlife, Bruce has attempted to represent all species' behaviors and habits as accurately as possible for authenticity... as much as fantasy will allow. For the premise and storyline of The Chrysalis, Bruce has drawn from his love of Celtic myths and legends, the Gita, the Bible, and evolution. He has written poetry as well as children's poems. You can find a small collection of these posted at www.scribd.com. He presently resides in southern California with his wife, Donna.
