About the Author: Henry Wermuth

Wermuth survived eight different consentration camps during the Second World War. During one escape he tried to assassinate Adolf Hitler by sabotaging the train rails by which the Fuehrer would arrive the next day. Obviously, his assassination attempt failed. I can't find an easily available short bio for this author, but the USC Shoah Foundation has published a long testimony by him on Youtube:
