About the Author: Louis N. Jones

Since he was a child, Washington, D.C. native Louis N Jones has enjoyed crafting interesting stories for others to read. His love of writing and his passion for creativity has led to many opportunities, including the reading of one of his short story creations, “The Silly Crayon” on national radio while he was still in third grade. As an adult, he has displayed his writing, information technology, and publishing talent at several publishing companies. He served 13 years as an IT consultant and engineer with the United States Postal Service, writing and designing technical manuals and performing desktop publishing. In 2008 Louis published his first novel entitled "Prodigal in the City." The novel has won rave reviews from readers for its strong plot and its message of faith, redemption and hope. His second novel, “The Colors Will Change,” about a Haitian immigrant who befriends a beleaguered politician in order to avoid a murder plot, has recently been released. Louis’ novels feature realistic plots and characters combined with a strong, but not preachy, Christian message. He also publishes other Christian authors through his company, Conquest Publishers. Louis is an assistant pastor at Christian Conquest Word of God Church in Washington, DC and resides in Bladensburg, Maryland.
